What is Content System

The Content system provides each user with virtual hard drive space so that files stored in the content system can be accessed at anytime and from anywhere. It also provides the tools for collaborating on, sharing, controlling access to and editing files.

Once a file has been stored in the content system that file can be shared with other users. Each user has the ability to grant others permission to access files and folders. The permissions include the ability to read, write (edit), manage (grant permission to other users) or delete the file/folder. Permissions to a file/folder can be changed at any time.

The content system is not intended to replace the hard drives on your computer – it is intended to be used as a place to store information that you wish to share with your colleagues and with the students enrolled in your courses. It is a great way for collaborating on document creation and projects.
