Mythware Classroom Management (V2.7) is available in academic computing labs across the College. With this service, faculty have the ability to ‘manage’ student networked computers by applying a variety of different options and/or restrictions to the computers in the lab. These options include:

  • Internet Restrictions:
    • Web Policy: Control access to the network (Internet) on student computers
      • All Open: Student can open all the websites
      • Whitelist: Student can only open the websites in whitelist
      • Blacklist: Student cannot open the websites in blacklist
  • Software Restrictions:
    • Application Policy: Whitelisting and Blacklisting applications
      • All Open: Student can open all the applications
      • Whitelist: Student can only open the applications in whitelist
      • Blacklist: Student cannot open the applications in blacklist
  • Hardware Restrictions: Control access to hardware (keyboard, mouse, USB, CD/DVD, etc.)
  • Screen Broadcast: Display your screen on all student workstations
  • File Distribution & Collection: Controlled file-sharing to students during class (i.e. electronically distribute a test to all students in class and securely receive back their completed test)
  • Remote Command: Close applications remotely, Restart or Shutdown all student workstations
  • Monitor & Control: Review the status of student workstations
