Forgotten/Expired Password

The MyID Self Service allows students and employees the following option if you have forgotten your Password or it has expired.

To change your password if you have forgotten it or it has expired, follow the steps below:

 

      1. Go to: myid.senecacollege.ca
      2. Select Forgot/Expired Password
      3. Click Yes to accept the terms and conditions from the The IT Acceptable Use Policy (ITAUP)
      4. The Enter your details to Continue window displays:
          
        1. Under Enter your username or student/employee number field: Enter either Username or Student/Employee ID number
        2. Click Continue
      5. Once submitted, a window displays a message that a link was sent to your Personal Email account , ******@
      6. Click Exit to return to the MyID Login screen.

 

Password Change with No Personal Email Address on File

      1. If there is no Personal Email address on file, you will then be required to enter your Date of Birth and Postal Code along with a valid Personal Email address after the above initial steps 1-4.
        1. Under the  Date of Birth: enter your personal information
        2. Under the Postal Code: enter your Postal Code on currently on file
        3. Under  Personal Email: enter your Personal Email address
        4. Under Confirm Personal Email: re-enter your Personal Email address
      2. Click Submit
      3. Once submitted, a window displays a message that a link was sent to your Personal Email account , ******@ as shown below: 
      4. Click Exit to return to the MyID Login screen.
